Mercari Coupons & Promo Codes
Traditional sitewide promo codes for a percentage off all purchases are very rare on Mercari, unlike conventional retailers. Mercari's discounts are typically in the form of shipping promotions, buyer coupons for specific categories or items, or new user signup bonuses. Sellers occasionally offer private bundle discounts or price drops, which are not promo codes but rather direct negotiations. Be wary of third-party sites claiming to have universal Mercari coupon codes, as these are often fake or expired.

That is the honest answer, and it is more useful than a list of dead codes. Mercari’s reliable savings are the standing offers below — or run a live search and we will scan social posts and deal boards for anything that surfaced in the last few hours.
Mercari discounts that work every day
Codes come and go. These are the standing programmes that are available whether or not a code is live, and for most shoppers they are worth more than a one-off code.

How to actually save at Mercari
Mercari is a leading online marketplace where individuals can buy and sell new and pre-owned items directly from their phones or computers. Specializing in everything from electronics and fashion to home goods and collectibles, Mercari provides a platform for millions of listings, emphasizing simplicity in listing and buying with protected payments and shipping.
- Always check for seller-offered free shipping. Many sellers on Mercari include shipping costs in their item price or offer it for free to attract buyers.
- For popular or higher-priced items, don't hesitate to 'Make Offer' to sellers. Many are willing to negotiate on price, especially if the item has been listed for a while.
- If you're a new user, actively look for a referral link from an existing user or Mercari's own new user promotions to get a sign-up bonus.
- Enable notifications for the Mercari app. This is often how they deliver personalized buyer coupons or announce limited-time shipping promotions.
- Bundle items from the same seller. Some sellers offer discounts or reduced shipping when you purchase multiple items from their store.
When Mercari actually discounts
Timing beats codes at most retailers. This is Mercari’s real markdown pattern.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Holiday Shopping Seasons (November-December) | Mercari often runs increased shipping promotions and sometimes category-specific coupons to encourage buying and selling during the busy holiday period. |
| Spring Cleaning/End of Season (March-April, August-September) | These periods see a surge in listings as people clear out unused items. Mercari may offer incentives for sellers, which can indirectly lead to more competitive pricing and better deals for buyers. |
| Sporadic App Notifications & Email Promotions | Mercari doesn't follow a strict coupon calendar like traditional retailers. Discounts appear often via direct app notifications or email, tailored to user activity or general platform-wide incentives. |

How we check Mercari codes
Most of the money at Mercari sits in loyalty mechanics rather than in a checkout code, so this page is built around verifying those against mercari.com’s own published terms and treats codes as the smaller half of the story. Any code we do list came from a page we can point at, and carries the date we last saw it.
When a shopper reports a code worked or failed at checkout, that vote is recorded and moves the code up or down this page. We publish the failures next to the successes, because a page showing only wins is not telling you the truth about coupon codes, most of which do not work. Codes that keep failing come down rather than stay up collecting clicks. Need something more current? Run a live search for Mercari.
