Salomon Coupons & Promo Codes
Salomon does issue promo codes, but they are not a constant stream of sitewide offers. The most common codes are for a percentage off your first order when you sign up for their newsletter. Other codes are typically tied to seasonal sales events or specific product categories. The biggest, most consistent savings come from shopping their Outlet section, which is available year-round, and by earning rewards through their S/PLUS loyalty program.
Salomon promo codes working right now
Codes below are ordered by how many shoppers reported them working at checkout. We show failure counts too — a code that failed for most people is worth knowing about.
No verified Salomon code is live right now.
That is the honest answer, and it is more useful than a list of dead codes. Salomon’s reliable savings are the standing offers below — or run a live search and we will scan social posts and deal boards for anything that surfaced in the last few hours.
Salomon discounts that work every day
Codes come and go. These are the standing programmes that are available whether or not a code is live, and for most shoppers they are worth more than a one-off code.
| Offer | Typical value | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| S/PLUS Loyalty Program | Points, birthday rewards, and member exclusives | Sign up for the free S/PLUS program on their website. You earn points for purchases and for completing activities like writing reviews. Points can be redeemed for vouchers, and members get benefits like free shipping and early access to sales.Points expire after one year of inactivity. Vouchers redeemed with points often have their own expiration dates. |
| Outlet Section | Typically 20-50% off | Navigate to the 'Outlet' section directly from the Salomon homepage. It features past-season footwear, apparel, and gear at a reduced price.Sizes and color options are often limited, and popular items sell out quickly. All sales are often final. |
| Newsletter Signup | Typically 15% off your first order | A popup or footer form on their website prompts new visitors to sign up for the email newsletter in exchange for a one-time promo code. The code is for one-time use and usually excludes already discounted items, S/LAB products, and certain other collections. |
| Free Standard Shipping | Free shipping on orders over a certain threshold (commonly $50) | Add at least the minimum required amount to your cart. The discount is applied automatically at checkout. The threshold can change and applies to your subtotal before taxes. Does not apply to oversized items like skis or snowboards. |
How to actually save at Salomon
Founded in the French Alps, Salomon is a leading manufacturer of footwear, apparel, and equipment for trail running, hiking, and winter sports. Discounts are most reliably found through their S/PLUS loyalty program and the official Outlet section, though promo codes for specific events or new customers are also available periodically.
- Join the S/PLUS loyalty program before you buy. It's free and the benefits, like free shipping with no minimum and points towards future discounts, start immediately.
- Always check the Outlet section first. It's the most reliable place to find a discount on Salomon gear, especially if you aren't particular about having the current season's colorway.
- Sign up for the newsletter to get the initial discount, but stay subscribed for notifications about their major end-of-season sales, which offer the deepest price cuts.
- Shop for ski and winter gear in the spring (March-May) and for summer hiking gear in the fall (September-October). This is when last season's equipment hits the biggest markdowns.
- If you're an outdoor industry professional, guide, or instructor, apply for Salomon's Pro Program. It offers significant discounts but requires verification.
- Build your own ski package to receive an automatic bundle discount. By selecting compatible skis, bindings, and sometimes boots together using the site's ski set builder, you can often get 10-20% off the total price. This is a great way to save on a full setup.
- If you are not an S/PLUS member, make sure your order total is over the free shipping threshold, which is typically around $75. For smaller items like flasks or socks, it is more economical to add them to a larger order with shoes or a jacket to avoid the standard shipping fee.
- Always use the country selector at the bottom of the homepage to ensure you are shopping on the correct regional site. Product availability, pricing, and promotions vary between the US, Canadian, and European versions of the site. Orders will typically not ship internationally if placed on the wrong regional site.
When Salomon actually discounts
Timing beats codes at most retailers. This is Salomon’s real markdown pattern.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| End of Winter Sale (March-April) | Deep discounts on skis, snowboards, boots, and winter apparel as they clear inventory for the spring and summer seasons. |
| Black Friday & Cyber Week (late November) | One of the best times for a sitewide or broad-category discount on current-season items, including popular running shoes and hiking boots. |
| End of Summer Sale (August-September) | Markdowns on trail running shoes, hiking footwear, and summer apparel to make way for the new fall and winter collections. |
| Late Summer (August) & Late Winter (February) | New Season Product Launch. The new fall/winter collection, including the latest ski and snowboard gear, arrives online in late summer. The spring/summer collection, with new trail running shoes like the Speedcross and hiking shoes, drops in late winter. |
| Mid-May (around Memorial Day) | Memorial Day Sale. This event offers the first significant markdowns on new spring and summer gear like hiking shoes, shorts, and hydration vests. While discounts are not as deep as end-of-season sales, it's a prime opportunity to get a deal on current season styles. |
Salomon coupon questions
- Does Salomon have a student discount?
- Salomon does not offer a standard, ongoing student discount program. The best way for students to save is by joining the free S/PLUS loyalty program, signing up for the newsletter for a first-order discount, and shopping the Outlet section.
- How do I get free shipping at Salomon?
- Salomon typically offers free standard shipping on orders over $50 in the US. S/PLUS members often receive free shipping with no minimum purchase requirement. This policy can change, so confirm at checkout.
- What is the Salomon Outlet?
- The Salomon Outlet is a dedicated section on their website that features past-season gear at a reduced price. This includes footwear, clothing, and equipment. It's a year-round sale section, but inventory is limited.
- Are Salomon Black Friday deals worth it?
- Yes, Salomon's Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are typically among their best of the year, offering discounts on a wide range of products, including popular and current-season items that are rarely discounted otherwise.
- What is the S/PLUS loyalty program?
- S/PLUS is Salomon's free rewards program. Members earn points on purchases, get free shipping, receive a birthday reward, and get early access to new products and sales. Points can be redeemed for discount vouchers on future orders.
- What is Salomon's return and exchange policy?
- Salomon generally allows returns of new, unused items with original tags and packaging within 45 days of the purchase date. For S/PLUS members, return shipping is typically free. Non members may have a standard return shipping fee deducted from their refund. Exchanges are not processed directly; you must return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired product. Note that items marked as 'Final Sale', often found in the outlet, are usually not eligible for returns or refunds. This policy applies to purchases made directly from salomon.com.
- What are the different levels of the S/PLUS loyalty program?
- The S/PLUS loyalty program has three tiers. New members start at the 'Bronze' level simply by signing up. After earning 200 points, you are promoted to the 'Silver' tier, which can offer early access to sales and new products. Reaching 1000 points unlocks the top 'Gold' tier, granting access to exclusive experiences and special partner offers. Points are earned not just on purchases, but also by writing product reviews or connecting a Strava account. Core benefits like free standard shipping with no minimum purchase are available to all tiers.
- Does Salomon offer price matching or price adjustments?
- Salomon does not offer price matching for products sold by other retailers. Their policy is to set their own competitive prices, and they will not match a lower price found elsewhere, even at an authorized dealer. Similarly, Salomon does not typically offer price adjustments on past orders. If an item you bought at full price goes on sale a week later, you cannot get a refund for the price difference. To ensure the best price, it is wise to make your purchase during one of their scheduled sale events.
- Can I buy or use a Salomon gift card online?
- Yes, Salomon sells digital e-gift cards on its website which are delivered to the recipient by email. These can be used to purchase any product on salomon.com, from S/LAB running shoes to QST skis. As of now, they do not seem to offer physical gift cards for online purchase. These e-gift cards do not have an expiration date. It is important to know that gift cards themselves cannot be purchased with a discount code, and promotional offers on products may not always be applicable when paying with a gift card.

How we check Salomon codes
Most of the money at Salomon sits in loyalty mechanics rather than in a checkout code, so this page is built around verifying those against salomon.com’s own published terms and treats codes as the smaller half of the story. Any code we do list came from a page we can point at, and carries the date we last saw it.
When a shopper reports a code worked or failed at checkout, that vote is recorded and moves the code up or down this page. We publish the failures next to the successes, because a page showing only wins is not telling you the truth about coupon codes, most of which do not work. Codes that keep failing come down rather than stay up collecting clicks. Need something more current? Run a live search for Salomon.
